Native SLI support is also a big plus, Im thankful for that. On the good side though, the graphics are amazing (at least the nighttime, lights, rain and reflections make it look that way), especially when I removed the film-grain by tweaking a file and used SweetFX/ReShade to reduce the horrible amount of blur produced by TAA (anti-aliasing). Optimization is strange, sometimes the FPS would go down to 70's with GTX 980 Ti 2-Way SLI, can't maintain stable +100 FPS, now I can imagine it is worse with people who has lower specs, yeah, optimization isn't good, plus this is a nighttime only game without dynamic shadows, lights, etc.

Horrible visual effects, IMO film-grain and raindrop effect on the screen is stupid, at least give us the option to disable these effects, and it is funny because they put these options in the photo mode, but not in option menu, (congrats Ghost Games). Menu UI is awful, this is one of the few games I had to google search to find how to quit to menu and find other things. Another thing which annoys me since NFSHP (2010) is the fact no matter how fast you are, cars would stop immediately or lose speed incredibly fast if you drift turn, it doesn't have the feeling of weight on cars at all (seriously, what gives?).Ĭut-scenes are bleh, but since it is a racing game, I don't care about the story and the acting at all, so it doesn't bother me much, though I couldn't skip them first, I hope I can skip now after the main intro. I bought the game yesterday since it was on sale for about $12 or something, and I would like to to share my thoughts and hear what others think about the game.įor me the handling is very different, I can't say it is good or bad, i think it requires some time to get used to it, one thing i don't like is the drifting though, it is very very difficult to understand the drifting mechanics, I'm still trying to learn but i can say it is frustrating.
